1. Right to Request Deletion

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules, and where applicable, principles under the General Data Protection Regulation, users have the right to request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Users may initiate an account deletion request through the OnPacts platform or by contacting [support email/contact].
OnPacts reserves the right to verify the identity of the requester before processing such requests to prevent unauthorized actions.

2. Processing Timeline & Weekly Cycle Obligations

OnPacts operates on a fixed Monday–Sunday operational cycle.

If a deletion request is received during an active cycle:

• The request will be processed from the upcoming Monday, following completion of the ongoing cycle
• Users remain obligated to fulfill or conclude their current commitments in accordance with platform policies
• All financial settlements, including rewards, penalties, or pending transactions, will be completed prior to account deletion

This ensures data integrity, contractual fulfillment, and accurate financial reconciliation.

3. Legal Basis for Data Retention

Notwithstanding a deletion request, OnPacts may retain certain personal data where required for:

• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Maintenance of financial and transaction records
• Prevention of fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity
• Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
• Enforcement of contractual obligations

Such retention shall be limited to the minimum scope and duration necessary for these purposes.

4. Effect of Account Deletion

Upon successful processing of the deletion request:

• User access to the platform will be permanently terminated
• Personal data will be deleted, anonymized, or irreversibly de-identified where feasible
• Any licenses or rights granted to the user to access the platform will cease immediately

This action is irreversible, and OnPacts shall not be liable for any loss of data, content, or associated information following deletion.

5. Third-Party Data Processing

Where personal data has been shared with third-party service providers (including but not limited to payment processors, analytics providers, and infrastructure services), OnPacts will take reasonable steps to notify such parties of the deletion request.

However:

• OnPacts does not control independent third-party systems
• Certain data may be retained by such entities in accordance with their own legal obligations

6. Data in Backups and Archival Systems

OnPacts maintains encrypted backups for disaster recovery and business continuity.

• Deleted data may persist temporarily within such backups
• Backup data is not actively processed or used for operational purposes
• Data will be overwritten or deleted in accordance with standard retention cycles

7. Financial and Transactional Data

Given the nature of OnPacts’ financial model:

• Transactional records, including payments, stakes, penalties, and payouts, may be retained as required under applicable financial, taxation, and regulatory laws
• Such data will be securely stored and accessed only for compliance purposes

8. User-Generated Content

To the extent applicable, any content voluntarily shared by users may remain accessible if:

• It has been shared with other users
• It exists on third-party platforms or systems

OnPacts shall not be responsible for removal of such content outside its direct control.

9. Communications Post-Deletion

Following account deletion:

• Users will no longer receive marketing or promotional communications
• OnPacts may continue to send communications where required for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, OnPacts shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data following deletion
• Delays caused due to verification or compliance requirements
• Retention of data where legally mandated

11. Policy Updates

OnPacts reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. Updated versions will be made available on the platform.
